Nordic Industries

Nordic Industries was issued an Authority to Construct pursuant to operating more hours on a 1,072 HP CAT engine (rock crusher). Advanced Air Testing performed mobile-lab emissions testing before and after Viscon treatment. The air district reviewed the results and Nordic Industries was issued a Permit to Operate. The PTO stipulates Viscon use. Nordic has since implemented fleet-wide utilization of Viscon.

University of Ill.

Viscon technology uses a scientific phenomenon called extensional viscosity to modify the physical properties of diesel fuel during injection and mixture formation. Viscon eliminates the formation of superfine satellite droplets which cause early ignition before spray jet penetration and mixing has progressed.
