|Viscon to Build a Bottling Plant to Meet Retail Demand
May 15, 2012 Bakersfield, CA. – Viscon California LLC, manufacturer of the Viscon Diesel Combustion Improver is building a state of the art bottling facility at its headquarters in Bakersfield, California. “Following a successful retail test at several Speedy Fuels truck stop locations, we are excited that the market is ready and awaiting our product at truck stops everywhere”, said Mike Porter, President of Viscon California. In addition to the original 1-quart bottles, the Company will now bottle and sell the new, 8-ounce bottles to better meet the customer demands.
“The new 8-ounce bottles are very convenient as they treat exactly 100 gallons of diesel, the most common full size truck fuel tank capacity. This packaging size will make it much easier for a truck driver to calculate the treat rate, therefore reducing waste or under treatment”, stated Preston Wahl, Viscon’s Director of Operations.
Viscon combustion improver is the only additive that is officially verified by the California Environmental Protection Agency to reduce particulate matter (PM) and carbon dioxide (CO2) emissions from diesel exhaust, while reducing fuel consumption.
